Holi Festival in India, Black & White

In a sky filled with opaque powder colored clouds there is no space for castes, class, age, or gender distinction.

At a special time of year when spring emerges to transform and bring signs of new life, the Holi Festival is the absolute celebration to mark the triumph and victory of good over evil.

The so called ‘Festival of Colours’, a fun and exuberant three day celebration entails lots of dancing, singing, and play of smearing each other with paint, representing freedom and breaking away from rules by eliminate the differences between people.

Holi is the answer to weapons of war and hostile status distinctions. It is the verification that after all we are all children of the same God.
